ARPA Information

The American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) provides stimulus to individuals, businesses, and government entities to assist in their respective COVID-19 responses. ARPA treats townships both as a government entity and an employer.

 

Acoma Township has qualified for ARPA funding and will receive a total of $121,315.98. The township worked towards spending these funds in the most appropriate places to keep the levy at a constant. Here is the breakdown of how the funds were spent so far.

 

  • New bridge on 200TH Street - $5,700

  • Replace the grass fire truck - $12,923

  • Fire Department wages - $34,294

  • New well for the town hall - $15,343

  • Clean ditches and repair roads - $44,728

  • Gravel for roads - $5,670

  • Left to spend in 2023- $2,826
